Foundation Waterproofing
Foundation waterproofing works in one direction only. Applied to the outside face where the water is, ground pressure holds it against the structure. Applied to the inside, the same pressure works to push it off. That single fact decides everything else.

Our Process
We establish where the water is coming from and whether the outside face can be reached before anyone talks about excavation. Often the answer is drainage.
- 1Free site inspection.
Where the water is coming from, what the ground is doing, and whether the outside face can be reached.
- 2Written finding and quote.
Including a plain answer if the honest option is drainage correction rather than waterproofing.
- 3The work.
Positive-side treatment where the face is accessible, with the drainage and protection details that make it last.
- 4Follow-up and guarantee.
Fred phones after the first proper wet spell. Written, minimum 2-year guarantee.

Why Choose TurboMax
Below-ground work is the least forgiving thing we do, because a mistake is buried and expensive to reach. That is exactly why the diagnosis-first approach matters more here than anywhere else.
Fred inspects and quotes personally and will tell you when the answer is a downpipe rather than an excavation, which costs us the bigger job. He follows up after the first serious wet spell rather than waiting for you to call.
Written, minimum 2-year guarantee, with extended guarantees available on request, and a 10-year service guarantee where the work is maintained by us on an agreed cycle.
What Our Customers Say
Verbatim reviews from Google, alongside photographs of foundation waterproofing we have actually done. No stock imagery.

Fred is a man of his word. The work they did on our roof was on time and good quality.

Repaired some leaks, redid the waterproofing and sprayed my entire roof with liquid rubber in 2 days at a reasonable price. They also guarantee their work for 2 years.

Run by a hands-on owner who impressed with his honesty and integrity. After the first rains, he contacted me to enquire about the work.

I received an extremely professional and friendly service. I was provided with expert advice throughout the project, which was completed well within time and under budget.

Excellent, professional, well-priced work. And a completely hassle-free process! 6/5. Thanks Fred!
Thank you TurboMax Waterproofing for your service and after service. I can definitely recommend your professional service.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers, including the ones that talk us out of a bigger job.
What does foundation waterproofing cost?
Whether anyone has to excavate is the whole question. Done at construction stage with the wall already exposed, it is comparatively cheap and it is the best value spend in a build. On an existing house, the excavation, machine access and reinstatement of paving or landscaping usually cost more than the waterproofing does.
Can you waterproof my foundation from inside the house instead?
We will be honest that it is the weaker option and often a temporary one. Water pressure in the soil pushes an external treatment onto the wall and pushes an internal one off it. Where the outside genuinely cannot be reached, managing the water is usually a more reliable strategy than trying to hold it back from the dry side.
We are building. When do you need to be on site?
Before backfill, while the outside face of the below-ground work is still open. Once the trenches are filled the cheap window has closed. If you are in the middle of a build, call at the stage where the foundation walls are up and the ground is still open.
My house is on a slope and the uphill wall gets damp every winter. Is that groundwater?
Often it is water moving laterally through the soil rather than rising from below, which is why it is seasonal and tracks the wet months. On sloped sites the answer is frequently interception and drainage upslope rather than a bigger membrane. It is worth diagnosing properly before anyone digs.
Is my damp actually a foundation problem or is it rising damp?
They get confused constantly. Rising damp sits in a band at the base of the wall and looks the same in every season. Below-ground water problems are usually seasonal, worse in the wet months, and often show at floor level or in a lower room rather than as a level band. Our inspection separates them.
