What we collect

We only collect what we need in order to quote and do the work:

Your name, so we know who we are speaking to
Your phone number, so we can call you back about your enquiry
The service you selected and the suburb your property is in
Anything you choose to write in the message field
The page of this website the enquiry was sent from

We do not ask for your identity number, banking details or address through this website, and you should not send them to us through the form. Our quote form does not require an email address.

Why we collect it

Solely to respond to your enquiry: to phone you back, arrange a free site inspection, prepare a quote, and carry out and guarantee work you ask us to do. We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not send newsletters.

Who we share it with

Nobody, other than the service providers that make the website work. Enquiries submitted through this website are delivered to us by email using Resend, and this website is hosted by Vercel. Both process the data on our behalf in order to deliver the message. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, ever.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to twelve months and then deleted. Records relating to work we carried out are kept for as long as the guarantee runs, and for as long afterwards as South African law requires us to retain business records.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not run third-party advertising scripts. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to understand which pages are useful. Nothing we collect that way identifies you personally.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

Ask what personal information we hold about you
Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
Ask us to delete information we no longer need
Object to how we are processing your information
Complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) if you believe we have handled your information improperly

Security

Enquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection and delivered to a mailbox we control. We keep access to that mailbox limited to the people in the business who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the small amount of information we hold.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
