The problem: Surface rust had spread across most of the sheeting and was working into the fixing lines. Left alone, the next stage is perforation at every screw, and by then the sheets have to be replaced rather than treated.
What we did: Wire-brushed back, rust-treated, then coated with the seams and every fixing line reinforced. The sheets stayed on the roof.

The problem: The previous coating had lost its bond and was peeling off in sheets, taking whole courses with it and leaving bare steel across the upper slope. On a pressed metal roof that is the point the clock starts: exposed steel corrodes at the cut edges and around the fixings first, and every fixing is already a hole through the roof.
What we did: The loose coating was stripped back to sound material and the roof washed down, the bare steel primed, then the whole roof recoated in charcoal. On a coating job the preparation is what decides whether the new finish stays on, not the tin.

Overgrown box gutter, cleared and waterproofed

The problem: A concrete box gutter running between a sheet roof and the parapet, silted up far enough to have grown plants. Water was standing on a surface that had already failed, against the sheet edge and the parapet upstand, which is where it gets into the building.
What we did: Cleared back to the concrete, the substrate made good, then the whole channel and both upstands coated in a liquid membrane with the outlet dressed in. Clearing it was preparation, not the job.
